The idea for ReLoveMN came to me when it was time to go through our third (and final!) baby's clothes to donate. I wasn't thrilled with local donation options but didn't feel good about selling everything either. We had amassed SO many items that I felt seriously guilty about our over-consumption. I knew I wasn't the only parent feeling this way so I wanted to create an easy, local place for parents to donate their children's outgrown clothes with the knowledge that they will be going to local families who really need them - for free!
Here's how it works if you have clothes to donate:
(1) Fill out a contact form or reach out to us directly at Sarah@relovemn.org
(2) Organize your clothes to make sure they are gently used (not stained or ripped) and sort/label by size and gender
(3) We will coordinate a time to pick up your donated items from your doorstep if you are within Edina. If you live outside of Edina, we will provide an address for you to drop the clothing off!
Here's how it works if you need a donation:
(1) Fill out a contact form with what you are seeking (size, gender, season specific, etc.)
(2) We will put together a customized bundle and drop it at your doorstep if you live within Edina. If you are outside of Edina, we will provide an address for you to pick the clothing up anonymously.
*Things to note:
(1) You can request donations for someone other than yourself! If you have a coworker, niece or nephew, neighbor, etc. who could use clothing assistance for their child, let me put together a bundle for them!
(2) While I don't utilize brand exclusivity, I am hoping to collect donated items that are of high quality and condition. Brands like Target and Carters are absolutely welcome - just please make sure they are of good used quality and are on trend! I do reserve the right to bring donated items to GoodWill that don't meet our quality standards.
